Okami Amaterasu

So this was my Okami Amaterasu costume, design credited to

I think it came out really well. All of the other pictures on cosplay.com show the extent to which I achieved Kaze-hime's design. The white fabric is white gabardine, the red is just a kona cotton, and the obi is hand dyed cotton. The pattern was self made, sorry to not help out there if you wanted to try to make a replica . The designs on the sleeves were painted on, as was the white in the inside (which has all the lines in it as Kaze-hime's design says). The wig was bought from Amphigory.com and styled by myself, with red sharpie used to design. The ears are of foam and microplush, and were attached via pins, hot glue, and super glue.

Though the disc can only be seen a few times, the disc was made from model magic, and attached to the obi. The fire was organza hotglued to the edges.
